Amy Palmer, Fifth Grade Teacher
Amy Palmer is a graduate of the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. She also has a master’s degree and reading endorsement in Early Childhood Education from Columbus State University. Mrs. Palmer enjoys reading and running half marathons.
Anne Peebles, Fifth Grade Teacher
Anne Peebles is a graduate of the University of Georgia where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. She went on to receive her teaching certification from Kennesaw State University in Atlanta. Mrs. Peebles later earned her Master’s degree in Elementary Education from Troy State University. Outside of teaching, Mrs. Peebles enjoys reading and spending time with her family.
Paula Posey, Fifth Grade Teacher
Paula Posey attended the University of Georgia and graduated from Columbus State University, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Education degree. She continued her training and received her Master’s of Science in Education degree and Educational Specialist degree from Troy State University, with a concentration in social studies and language arts. She taught for a number of years in public schools before joining the St. Luke School staff in 2005. She is known for integrating her love for reading into her social studies lessons. She enjoys spending time with her family and reading.
Melissa Wood, Fifth Grade Teacher
Melissa Wood is a graduate of Columbus State University where she received a degree in Middle Grades Education. She taught eighth grade Physical Science from 2010 through the 2015-2016 school year and is now part of the fifth grade team. Mrs. Wood enjoys spending time with her three children who attend St. Luke School, Early Learning Center and Preschool..
