Mike Peacock, Eighth Grade Physical Science
Mike Peacock joined the St. Luke School staff in 2018-2019, teaching 8th grade science. He has now taken on the role of softball coach as well. Mike began his teaching and coaching career in Alabama and then transitioned into collegiate athletics, working for 16 years at Columbus State. After CSU, he worked in team sporting goods sales before coming to SLS. Mike and wife Dana will celebrate 29 years of marriage this year and are the parents of two sons – Brooks (22) and Bryn (15). Mike is a baseball enthusiast and enjoys hunting, fishing, and golf.
Christine Rosa, Eighth Grade Math
Christine Rosa graduated from the University of Georgia with a BS in Secondary Mathematics Education. She taught 7th grade Math at Webb Bridge Middle School in Alpharetta for one year before transferring to Christian education. She has spent the last five years teaching 7th and 8th grade Math, coaching Middle School Cross Country and Soccer, and serving as a Student Life Coordinator at Mt. Pisgah Christian School in Johns Creek, GA. Mrs. Rosa enjoys watching competitive cooking shows, reading a good book, and grilling out with family and friends. She is a passionate and devoted fan of UGA football and US Women’s Soccer. Mrs. Rosa loves teaching middle school students how to grow in confidence and love for math. Her classroom model is one that encourages exploration, communication, and collaboration. Future problem solvers of America, here we come!
Brandi Waldheim, Eighth Grade Language Arts
Brandi Waldheim has been a classroom teacher for over eight years. She is a graduate of Columbus State University and received her teaching degree in 2007. Mrs. Waldheim has been working on obtaining her Masters in Teaching through Columbus State online. She joined the St. Luke School staff in 2016. Mrs. Waldheim leads our eighth graders through the National History Day project each year to help them build their research skills and prepare them for the next step in their learning. She is married and has two daughters. She loves Mercer Football, baking, and anything Disney.
