LeAnn Copelan, ROAR Teacher
LeAnn Copelan is a graduate of Auburn University where she received her degree in Special Education in 1994. She went on to obtain her Master’s Degree in Special Education from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. After teaching for three years at McAdory Elementary in McCalla, Alabama, she moved to Georgia. Mrs. Copelan taught in Muscogee County for seven years before coming to St. Luke. Mrs. Copelan helped to start the ROAR program at St. Luke in 2005. The faith-based education is one of her favorite aspects about teaching at St. Luke School. Mrs. Copelan is the sponsor for the Lionette’s dance team and enjoys being a part of this co-curricular group. When she is not teaching, she enjoys reading, traveling, decorating, scrapbooking, and spending time with her family and friends.
Vickie Sharpe, ROAR Teacher Assistant
Vickie Sharpe is a graduate of Troy State University where she received a Bachelor’s in Science of Accounting. She spent many years working in the Finance Department of Columbus Bank & Trust. After having children, Mrs. Sharpe spent several years at home working as a full time mom. She joined the staff of St. Luke School in 2006 as a Teacher’s Assistant for the ROAR program. Mrs. Sharpe and her family are active members of Wynnbrook Baptist Church.
