St. Luke School was grateful for the opportunity to host over 700 guests on campus last week for our annual Grandparents’ and Special Friends’ Day program and campus tours. Our “GRANDS” enjoyed a pre-program concert from the student Praise Band, were able to fellowship together, and see first-hand how their grandchildren are learning to live our 2016-17 theme, “More of Jesus, Less of Me.” Ethelyn Riley, a grandparent and occasional substitute teacher here at St. Luke, shared inspiring thoughts about the importance of grandparents and the gift of a St. Luke School education. Many thanks to Ethelyn and all of the GRANDS and Special Friends for the many ways you love and support our children, families, and school.
Our ever creative faculty worked with the children to compile videos for this special event. Each grade level’s video incorporates the 2016-17 theme which uses the Bible verse from John 3:30, and which the children often sum up as HE > i. Enjoy the following videos from the first, second, third, sixth and eighth grade classes. Parents may log into ParentsWeb to access videos for all other grades.
