Our school was evaluated and received the highest possible level of endorsement and recommendation from the SAIS evaluation team. To earn accreditation from SAIS, St. Luke School complied with quality standards, was evaluated by an outside group of peer professionals, and implemented a school plan focused on strategic improvement and student performance in accordance with our school’s mission.
St. Luke School was previously accredited by AdvancED. We now hold joint accreditation from both SAIS and AdvancED through June of 2023.
“Our desire as a school is to obtain the highest possible level of accreditation we may receive. Through this process we also wanted a focus on the fact that unlike a public school, we have a unique mission that can only be truly understood by others who work in our environment of independent schools.” Bill Shelnutt, Head of School
SAIS accredited member schools are part of an international network of accredited schools that have demonstrated success in educating children. As such, SAIS accreditation is recognized throughout the world as a symbol of quality in education for students and teachers.
This accreditation serves to both validate the strong foundational qualities of our school and motivate us to continuously improve and build for the future. Please click here for a copy of the related press release.
