The strength of St. Luke’s academic program is a highly qualified, caring faculty who seek not only to prepare but to stretch and challenge students to fully develop their God-given abilities. The SLS core curriculum offers students an impressive range of academic and religious instruction. As noted in the Mission Statement, the faculty and staff at St. Luke School are committed to providing our students with an excellent academic education. Our staff seeks out opportunities for continous school improvement – always with an eye on student achievement. Finding time to plan together, study data, draw conclusions and formalize plans for improvement is part of the fiber of the St. Luke School staff.
The St. Luke School staff is comprised of over 70 high-functioning and committed professionals. Collectively, the professional staff of teachers, administrative, and service providers (including media and counseling) has an average of nearly 13 years of experience, with six of those being at St. Luke. There are 34 advanced degrees (master’s and specialist’s) earned by the professional staff. Currently, over 30 members of the St. Luke School staff are also school parents!
