Ann Allen, Fifth Grade Teacher
Ann Allen is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Georgia State University in Atlanta. She earned her teaching certificate through Columbus State University. She likes to find the perfect book for each student and loves it when she can surprise her students. She has been teaching at St. Luke since 2007. Before becoming a teacher, Ms. Allen worked in Human Resources and Labor Relations on both the business and consulting sides. .
Anne Peebles, Fifth Grade Teacher
Anne Peebles is a graduate of the University of Georgia where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. She went on to receive her teaching certification from Kennesaw State University in Atlanta. Mrs. Peebles later earned her Master’s degree in Elementary Education from Troy State University. Outside of teaching, Mrs. Peebles enjoys reading and spending time with her family. .
Laura Silver, Fifth Grade Teacher
Laura Silver is a graduate of Auburn University. She has been in the classroom over 15 years, and has been teaching for all but two of those. She has a passion for teaching children of all ages, and has experience teaching first through fifth grade. She and her husband Mark have two wonderful children. Laura loves animals, so the family also has two dogs and two cats. She attends St. Luke United Methodist Church and enjoys being both a mom of a St. Luke School student and a part of the staff.
