Sheron Hopkins, Second Grade Teacher
Sheron Hopkins has been an elementary classroom teacher since 1994. She is a graduate of Presbyterian College where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. She continued her education at Brenau University in Gainesville, GA, where she received her education degree, Masters degree in early childhood education and Reading Specialist degree. Mrs. Hopkins joined the St. Luke School staff in 2006. She attends St. Luke United Methodist Church and enjoys being both a mom of a graduate of St. Luke School and a part of the staff.
Savannah Jeter, Second Grade Teacher
Savannah Jeter attended Columbus State University where she received a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education as well as a math endorsement. In 2013, Mrs. Jeter received her master’s degree in Special Education along with a reading endorsement. .
Juliet McCarley, Second Grade Teacher
Juliet McCarley earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Auburn University in Psychology and Criminal Justice. She went on to receive her Master’s in Elementary Education and Reading Endorsement from Columbus State University. Mrs. McCarley had 10 years of experience teaching in the public school system prior to joining the St. Luke School faculty in 2015. She is a member of St. Luke Church and enjoys baking, spending time with her family and watching Auburn football.
Hannah Slay, Second Grade Teacher
Hannah Slay has enjoyed teaching third grade at St. Luke School since 2016 and is excited to join the second grade team in 2020. She graduated from Samford University in 2014. She and her husband Jeffrey have a son named Griffin and a daughter named Harper. In her free time, Mrs. Slay enjoys working out, spending time with her family, cheering for Auburn, and reading.
