Sheron Hopkins, Second Grade TeacherSheron Hopkins has been an elementary classroom teacher since 1994. She is a graduate of Presbyterian College where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. She continued her education at Brenau University in Gainesville, GA, where she received her education degree, Masters degree in early childhood education and Reading Specialist degree. Mrs. Hopkins joined the St. Luke School staff in 2006. She attends St. Luke United Methodist Church and enjoys being both a mom of a graduate of St. Luke School and a part of the staff.
Savannah Jeter, Second Grade Teacher
Savannah Jeter attended Columbus State University where she received a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education as well as a math endorsement. In 2013, Mrs. Jeter received her master’s degree in Special Education along with a reading endorsement.
Abigail Estes, Second Grade Teacher
Abigail is thrilled to be joining the second-grade team at St. Luke! She is originally from Lincoln, Nebraska, but moved to Columbus from El Paso, Texas where her husband was stationed at Fort Bliss. She graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan University in 2015 and graduated this past May with her Master’s Degree from Liberty University. She is married and has two cats, Shuggy and Boots, that they adopted from each state they have lived in with the Army. She enjoys Crossfit, going on road trips, and cooking.
Brittany Stehn, Second Grade Teacher
Brittany has lived in Columbus most of her life- it’s home to my family! She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Columbus State University in Special education and then taught in MCSD for 10 years. She has been married for almost 8 years and has two wonderful children, Griff and Nora, and a fur baby, Macy! Two young children and an active dog keep her family busy, but on the weekends, you can find the Stehns at Cascade Hills! She has served on the worship team there for 17 years!
