
Anne Plott, Eighth Grade Language Arts
Anne Plott has a degree in English Literature. She has been employed at St. Luke since 1995 and has served in various roles in St. Luke School and the Early Learning Center. She is a life-long member of St. Luke United Methodist Church.

Brandi Waldheim, Eighth Grade Georgia History
Brandi Waldheim was a classroom teacher for over eight years before joining the St. Luke School staff in 2016. She is a graduate of Columbus State University and received her teaching degree in 2007. Mrs. Waldheim has been working on obtaining her Masters in Teaching through Columbus State online. Mrs. Waldheim leads our eighth graders through the National History Day project each year to help them build their research skills and prepare them for the next step in their learning. She is married and has two daughters. She loves Mercer Football, baking, and anything Disney.

Elaine Morgan, Eighth Grade Math
Elaine Morgan joined our SLS staff in 2020. She brings her forty-six years of teaching expertise to the eighth grade team as the Algebra teacher. She has taught at the high school, middle school, and college levels. She and her husband, Larry, are proud parents to two rescue dogs, Whizzer and Mollie. She enjoys spending her weekends transporting dogs from pounds to rescue facilities. In her spare time, she is an avid needleworker.

Carmen Owens, Eighth Grade Science
Mrs. Owens joined the SLS staff in 2021. She has served on the staff of other public and independent schools in the Columbus area. She is certified to teach Jr-K through twelfth grade. She has recently been serving in ministry through The Salvation Army in Atlanta, GA, and the Washington, DC areas. She and her husband, Shane, have two girls who are in high school.
