Mike Peacock, Eighth Grade Physical Science
Mike Peacock joined the St. Luke School staff in 2018, teaching 8th grade science. He has now taken on the role of softball coach as well. Mike began his teaching and coaching career in Alabama and then transitioned into collegiate athletics, working for 16 years at Columbus State. After CSU, he worked in team sporting goods sales before coming to SLS. Mike and wife, Dana, are the parents of two sons – Brooks and Bryn. Mike is a baseball enthusiast and enjoys hunting, fishing, and golf.
Anne Plott, Eighth Grade Language Arts
Anne Plott has a degree in English Literature. She has been employed at St. Luke since 1995 and has served in various roles in St. Luke School and the Early Learning Center. She is a life-long member of St. Luke United Methodist Church.
Brandi Waldheim, Eighth Grade Georgia History
Brandi Waldheim was a classroom teacher for over eight years before joining the St. Luke School staff in 2016. She is a graduate of Columbus State University and received her teaching degree in 2007. Mrs. Waldheim has been working on obtaining her Masters in Teaching through Columbus State online. Mrs. Waldheim leads our eighth graders through the National History Day project each year to help them build their research skills and prepare them for the next step in their learning. She is married and has two daughters. She loves Mercer Football, baking, and anything Disney.
Kelly Webb, Eighth Grade Math
Kelly Webb has a Bachelor of Science in Education from Central Michigan University and a Masters in Educational Leadership from Wingate University. Mrs. Webb taught sixth grade science in Monroe, North Carolina and at St. Luke School before being the first teacher in the 5th-8th grade STEAM lab. Mrs. Webb is joining the eighth grade team as a math teacher for the 2020-2021 school year. Kelly joined the SLS staff in 2015.
Elaine Morgan, Eighth Grade Algebra
Elaine Morgan joined our SLS staff in 2020. She brings her forty-six years of teaching expertise to the eighth grade team as the Algebra teacher. She has taught at the high school, middle school, and college levels. She and her husband, Larry, are proud parents to two rescue dogs, Whizzer and Mollie. She enjoys spending her weekends transporting dogs from pounds to rescue facilities. In her spare time, she is an avid needleworker.
