Each Spring, students in grades 1-8 participate in norm-referenced testing by taking the Iowa Test of Basic Skills (ITBS), with students in the third, fifth and eighth grades completing the full battery. These are nationally-normed tests taken by students across the country. This gives us the ability to compare our students against the norms established in subject area and in each grade using percentiles, normal curve equivalents and grade equivalents. St. Luke School students consistently average well above grade level in every area. You may obtain more information about the ITBS from the publisher, Riverside Publishing.
