Sherry P. Bunn Excellence in Athletics Fund
In honor and recognition of St. Luke School Athletic Director Sherry Bunn and her outstanding service to student-athletes and their families, the 2021 St. Luke School graduating class has established the Sherry P. Bunn Excellence in Athletics Fund. Sherry’s strong leadership, unwavering commitment, and selfless service to St. Luke School and athletics programs are immeasurable. The impact she has made on countless student-athletes, coaches, teachers, families, and communities is unparalleled. Sherry is the standard-bearer for excellence in athletics both on and off the field and for that reason, she commands the respect of all who work with and for her. Sherry believes in the potential of each student and has dedicated herself to providing every opportunity for him or her to achieve success. Her genuine care, concern, and love for St. Luke students were on full display during the pandemic. When many activities were postponed or canceled, Sherry found a way for SLS student-athletes to safely compete and further develop their skills. Thanks to her steadfast commitment and vision, St. Luke School now offers 16 sports and athletic clubs for hundreds of student-athletes each year.
The Excellence in Athletics Fund will provide additional funding to support the needs of St. Luke School athletic programming going forward.
